Harris was reportedly engaged in a heated argument with a woman identified as Maxine McCord and her family members. It was during this confrontation that McCord’s boyfriend, Joshua Ismael Campos, emerged from their apartment and allegedly shot Harris before fleeing the scene with McCord, leaving their young child behind with relatives.
