Former College Hockey Players Identified as Victims in Miami Double Murder-Suicide
Two women, former New England College hockey players, have been tragically identified as the victims in a suspected double murder-suicide that took place in Miami over the weekend. The victims have been named as Sidney Capolino, a native of New York, and Meghan Moore, who was also the girlfriend of the gunman.

Details of the Tragic Incident
Authorities revealed that Moore and Capolino lived together in the Windsor Ludlam Trail Apartments in Southwest Miami-Dade, where the horrifying incident unfolded on Saturday night. police were alerted to the situation just before 9 p.m. and rushed to the scene near Bird Road and Southwest 70th Court.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Moore outside the building with a fatal gunshot wound. As they tried to assist her, they heard another gunshot from inside the apartment and swiftly evacuated the area. A special response team was called in and subsequently found Capolino and another individual, Luis Napoles, inside the residence, both also with fatal gunshot wounds.
School Confirms Victims’ Identities
New England College, located in New Hampshire, confirmed that both Moore and Capolino had been members of its women’s hockey team. The college’s president, Dr. Wayne F. Lesperance, Jr., expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of the two former students.
According to their bios on the school’s athletics website, Moore, originally from Centerville, Massachusetts, was not only a talented player for New England College but had also excelled in high school hockey at Barnstable High School. Capolino, on the other hand, hailed from Pawling, New York.
