A woman found herself in hot water after allegedly using counterfeit bills to make a purchase at a business on Saturday. The Colma police Department sprang into action when they received a report of someone trying to pass off fake $50 bills at a store located in the 5000 block of Junipero Serra Boulevard at 5:26 p.m.

Police Investigation and Arrest

Upon arrival at the scene, responding officers discovered that the suspect had already left the premises after successfully making a purchase with the counterfeit money.
