The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Releases Surveillance Images of Suspects in Home Invasion Robbery

In a recent development, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has shared surveillance images of two suspects believed to be involved in a home invasion robbery that resulted in the tragic death of a man in January. The incident took place at a residence in the 8000 block of Ivymill Court, Jacksonville, Florida.

Details of the Incident

On January 6, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office received a distress call about a man who had been shot at the aforementioned location. Upon arriving at the scene, they identified the victim as 45-year-old Gary Mills. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.

Following the incident, the Homicide and Crime Scene units of the JSO launched an investigation and determined that at least four individuals were involved in the home invasion robbery that led to the fatal shooting of Gary Mills.

Surveillance Footage and Suspects

Investigators managed to obtain surveillance footage that captured two of the four suspects in the act. Additionally, they were able to retrieve an image of a vehicle believed to be linked to the crime. The JSO is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
