Clashes have been ongoing in and around the hospital, where tens of thousands of people have sought shelter.

The report by the IPC paints a grim picture of the hunger crisis in Gaza, with virtually everyone struggling to get enough food. Around 677,000 people, nearly a third of the population, are facing the highest level of catastrophic hunger. Outright famine is projected to occur in the north anytime between now and May, with at least 27 people, mostly children, having already died from malnutrition and dehydration.
