Tragic Loss in Logan County
The devastating storms that tore through Logan County on Thursday night have left a community in mourning. Three lives were tragically lost in the wake of the destructive tornado that struck a trailer park, leaving a trail of devastation in its path.

Victims Identified
The victims have been identified as Marilyn Snapp, 81, Darla Doty (Darla Williams), 70, and Neal A. Longfellow, 69. Marilyn and Darla were both killed when the tornado hit the trailer park, while Neal lost his life in the chaos that ensued. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed their identities and notified their next of kin.
Search and Rescue Operation
Emergency crews sprang into action, conducting a search and rescue operation at Geiger Trailer Park. It was there that the bodies of Marilyn and Darla were discovered amidst the debris left by the tornado. The sheriff’s office reported that mobile home parks in Russels Point and Lakeview bore the brunt of the storm’s fury.
Injuries Reported
In addition to the tragic loss of life, at least six people were injured in the aftermath of the storm. Indian Lake EMS confirmed the injuries, adding to the devastation that has gripped the region.
