Shooting Incident Outside Lincoln Bar Leaves Multiple Injured

In a recent incident outside Lincoln Bar on Washington Avenue in Houston, Texas, a shooting took place, resulting in multiple injuries. The authorities are currently on the lookout for a 24-year-old suspect, Luis Gerardo Rios, who is wanted in connection with the shooting.

Sequence of Events

The Houston police Department reported that the altercation began around 11:30 p.m. when two men engaged in a fight inside the bar. Off-duty deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office intervened and asked the men to leave the premises. Despite being told to leave, the men later returned in a black SUV and allegedly started shooting towards the entrance of the bar.

Injuries and Victims

As a result of the shooting, two men aged 29 and 24 were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, while two others aged 44 and 38 sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. One of the victims, Darien Mann, who was not involved in the initial altercation, spoke out about his experience from his hospital bed. Mann described how he was waiting in line to enter the bar with friends when he was struck by a bullet, leaving him paralyzed from the stomach down.

Suspect Identification

After a thorough investigation, Rios was identified as the suspect who allegedly fired shots from the black Chevrolet Tahoe. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office has pressed charges against Rios, but he remains at large. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Rios’ whereabouts to come forward and assist in the case.
