SOUTHFIELD, Mich. Teen Boy Critically Injured in Southfield Hotel Shooting
A 15-year-old boy from Ferndale was left fighting for his life after being shot at a hotel in Southfield. The incident occurred at the Westin Hotel, situated just north of 10 Mile Road, on Sunday, Feb. 11, at approximately 8:45 a.m.

According to authorities, emergency crews swiftly responded to the scene after receiving reports of a gunshot victim. police found the young boy with a severe gunshot wound and immediately administered medical aid. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently listed in critical condition. Unfortunately, doctors have stated that his chances of survival are slim.
Investigations have revealed that the victim was in the hotel room with two other unsupervised juveniles when the shooting took place. Shockingly, two firearms were discovered concealed in the waistband of a 15-year-old boy from Detroit, who was subsequently taken into custody. The third juvenile, who is a resident of Southfield, has not been named.
