A man arrested after assaulting a police officer in Portland
A man, identified as 29-year-old Scott Thomas, is now facing charges of assaulting a police officer after an incident that took place on Sunday at the Ramada Plaza on Riverside Street in Portland.

Authorities were called to the scene when Thomas refused to leave the plaza. Upon their arrival, Thomas had already fled but was later discovered in a nearby parking lot.
