Woman Identified in Fatal Car Crash on I-95 Off-Ramp in Georgetown

A woman has been identified as the victim of a tragic car crash that occurred on an Interstate 95 off-ramp in Georgetown. Nichole K. Rodgers, a 45-year-old resident of Georgetown, was ejected from her SUV during the collision and tragically succumbed to her injuries at a hospital, according to the Essex County District Attorney’s Office.
The accident, which took place late Saturday morning at exit 78B near Route 133, involved two vehicles. Three other individuals sustained injuries in the serious wreck. The SUV, carrying three occupants, had rolled onto its roof, resulting in Rodgers and another passenger being ejected. Additionally, one injured person was from a sedan.
Upon arriving at the scene, authorities discovered two off-duty nurses and an off-duty firefighter providing medical aid to the victims. All four injured individuals were subsequently transported to the hospital. As of Monday morning, the extent of their injuries remains unknown. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
