Homicide detectives in Stoney Creek are currently on the hunt for a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with the murder of his 56-year-old father. The victim, Kuldip Singh, was found at his home on Saturday night with severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect, Sukhaj Cheema-Singh, is now wanted for first-degree murder. police have released an image of Cheema-Singh and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.
According to witnesses, the suspect fled the scene after an altercation with his father. It is believed that he had been in the area for about 30 minutes prior to the incident and made his escape in a small, dark-colored SUV. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Trafalgar towards Mud Street.
