A manhunt is underway in Angleton, Texas after a devastating shooting incident that has left two individuals injured and hospitalized. The suspect, identified as Bradley Jones, is currently at large and is believed to be fleeing in a 2015 Silver or Blue Chevrolet Silverado.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of the morning on South Velasco Street. Authorities were alerted to an active shooter situation and promptly responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds, both of whom were quickly transported to the hospital for treatment.

Unveiling the Suspect: Bradley Jones

Bradley Jones, the alleged perpetrator of the shooting, has been identified by Angleton police. The authorities have released a photograph of Jones and shared some minimal details about his background.

According to the police, Jones is accused of shooting a man and a woman at Thermal Polymer, an industrial facility where his wife was previously employed. The incident occurred earlier today, and by the time law enforcement arrived, Jones had already fled the scene.

The identity of Jones’ wife has not been disclosed by the authorities at this time.

Reports suggest that Jones entered the building and held an employee at gunpoint before carrying out the shootings. The motive behind his actions is still unknown, and investigators are diligently working to obtain surveillance footage that may shed light on the incident.

Describing Jones’ appearance, police have noted that he has blond hair, blue eyes, and a receding hairline. He is believed to weigh approximately 150 pounds and stands at a height of 5 feet, 8 inches. Given the potentially dangerous nature of the suspect, authorities have cautioned the public to consider him armed and unsafe to approach.

The victims, a male and a female, were both airlifted to the hospital for urgent medical attention. While their ages have not been specified by the authorities, their current condition remains unknown.

Sgt. Budnick with Angleton PD stated, “We are currently scouring social media, reaching out to families, and gathering more information and details about today’s shooting.”

In light of the ongoing investigation, authorities have cordoned off the area, and Highway 288B, spanning from Highway 35 to Dwyer, has been temporarily closed. To provide support for affected families, the Angleton Recreation Center is offering assistance and resources.
