Two Injured in Angleton Shooting, Suspect at Large
Angleton, Texas – A shooting in Angleton, Texas left two people injured on Monday morning, according to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office. The victims were flown to a Houston hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred in the 900 block of South Velasco Street around 8:20 a.m. Local law enforcement, including Angleton police, responded to reports of an active shooter in the area. Fortunately, the shooter is no longer active.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two individuals who had sustained injuries. The suspect, identified as Bradley Jones, fled from the scene. Authorities are currently searching for Jones, who is believed to be driving a 2015 blue or silver Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
For public safety, people were advised to avoid the area. As a result, Highway 288B from Highway 35 to Dwyer has been temporarily shut down.

In the meantime, assistance for affected families has been arranged at the Angleton Recreation Center. This will provide support and resources to those impacted by the incident.
