Dramatic footage has emerged, capturing the terrifying moment three survivors narrowly escaped a private jet explosion in Florida, which tragically claimed the lives of the aircraft’s two pilots. The survivors, identified as crew member Sydney Ann Bosmans, 23, along with passengers Aaron Baker, 35, and Audra Green, 23, were filmed fleeing the fiery inferno after the jet crashed on Friday.

The shocking video, captured by passing motorist Kyle Cavaliere, shows massive plumes of smoke billowing from the wreckage moments after the plane went down. As Cavaliere approaches the scene, he exclaims, “It landed on a car too!” The footage reveals the extent of the devastation, with huge flames and debris scattered across the road.

In a heart-stopping turn of events, the video then cuts to a different angle, showing three individuals sprinting away from the engulfed jet. Cavaliere rushes over to offer assistance, asking if there is anyone else inside the wreckage. One of the survivors frantically responds, “Yes, yes, our pilots!” When Cavaliere inquires about their condition, the woman admits she does not know.

Tragically, the pilots, identified as 50-year-old Edward Daniel Murphy and 65-year-old Ian Frederick Hofmann, lost their lives in the crash. The duo had reported a dual engine failure in a distressing Mayday call to air traffic control just moments before the accident. The ill-fated flight was only a minute away from making an emergency landing at Naples Airport, but audio recordings reveal the pilot’s resignation to the fact that they would not make it.

The private jet, which belonged to Florida-based chartering company Hop-a-Jet, crashed into several cars on a busy highway, resulting in a massive explosion. The company expressed deep concern for the well-being of the passengers, crew members, and their families, vowing to send a team to the crash site. Bosmans, a flight attendant for Hop-a-Jet, is a graduate of the Beyond and Above Corporate Flight Attendant Training school, as stated on her LinkedIn profile.

As investigations into the crash continue, the Federal Aviation Authority has closed all southbound lanes for 24 hours. A preliminary report is expected within 30 days. Meanwhile, police, emergency responders, and state troopers flooded the scene, with northbound lanes only reopening four hours after the tragic incident.

This catastrophic event serves as a grim reminder of the risks involved in air travel and the bravery of those who survive against all odds. The immediate focus now lies on supporting the survivors, investigating the cause of the crash, and offering solace to the grieving families of the two pilots who tragically lost their lives..
