Two Men Found dead in Hotel Room in New Delhi Under Mysterious Circumstances

New Delhi: In a tragic incident, two men were discovered dead in a hotel room in the outer district of Nangloi on Saturday. The police suspect that substance abuse may have been the cause of their deaths.
The deceased individuals have been identified as 29-year-old Jitesh Ghanghas, a native of Panipat, and 24-year-old Sachin, who resided in Nangloi. According to the police, they received information about the incident at 2:27pm on Saturday. Upon arrival at the hotel on the third floor, they found the room locked from the inside and received no response to their calls.
“We broke open the door and found two men lying unconscious. They were taken to a hospital, where they were declared dead,” stated a police officer. Witness statements were recorded, and the bodies were sent to SGM Hospital for further investigation.
During the examination of the room by the Mobile Crime Team and FSL Rohini, several medicine bottles, scattered needles, and syringes were discovered. “Prima facie it may be due to substance abuse and no apparent foul play was found. Proceedings under section 174 CrPC are in progress,” the officer said.

Further investigations revealed that the men had checked into the hotel on Friday evening and were supposed to check out on Saturday morning. When the hotel staff received no response after knocking on the door, they alerted the police. The CCTV footage from the hotel is currently being reviewed, and the staff is being questioned.
The deaths of Jitesh Ghanghas and Sachin have left their families and friends in shock. Jitesh Ghanghas, a young man from Panipat, was known for his friendly nature and love for adventure.
