Helicopter Crash in California Claims Six Lives: Second Tragic Incident in Less Than a Week
A devastating helicopter crash occurred near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert in California’s San Bernardino County late on Friday evening. Authorities have confirmed that there were no survivors among the six people on board the Eurocopter EC 130.

During a routine training flight in Pine Valley, California, a Navy chopper carrying five troops went down. The marines have been identified as Lance Cpl. Donovan Davis, Sgt. Alec Langen, Capt. Benjamin Moulton, Capt. Jack Casey, and Capt. Miguel Nava. These brave individuals were part of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at Miramar, assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16.
General Michael J. Borgschulte, commanding general of 3rd MAW, expressed his sorrow at the loss of these exceptional servicemen, acknowledging their selfless dedication to their duty.
