Ranchi Family Tragedy: Three Hacked to Death, One Critically Injured in Violent Clash

Three members of a family in Sakrauli village, located in Jharkhand’s Gumla district, were brutally hacked to death with an axe, while another family member sustained critical injuries during a violent clash on Friday, as per the local police.

The incident occurred due to a dispute within the family over the distribution of felled tree logs. The accused individuals involved in this horrific incident are also relatives of the victims, according to the police.

“The dispute within the family turned violent, and one of them, armed with an axe, attacked four others. Three individuals were killed instantly, while one sustained serious injuries,” revealed Suresh Prasad Yadav, the sub-divisional police officer. He further added that the police have promptly apprehended the family members responsible for this gruesome act.

The deceased have been identified as Munna Sahu, Nageshwar Sahu, and Pawan Sahu, as confirmed by the police. Meanwhile, Vikash Sahu, the injured family member, is currently receiving medical treatment at the renowned Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi, shared Yadav.

The accused, identified as Nankeshwar Sahu, Satyendra Sahu, and Shivkumar Sahu, are cousins of the victims, disclosed Yadav.
