Two Friends killed in Tragic Crash near Santa Fe
In a devastating turn of events, Jordan Dwyer and Landon Crossley, both 26, lost their lives in a fatal crash near Santa Fe. The incident occurred on Thursday, February 8, 2024, when the two friends were on a road trip from Texas to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. They were accompanied by two other men and were looking forward to a skiing adventure.
Tragically, their journey was cut short when they were struck by a drunk driver who was driving on the wrong side of the road. The driver, identified as Scott Sullivan, 51, of Topanga, California, collided with the Ram pickup truck carrying Dwyer and Crossley. The impact of the collision resulted in the immediate death of the two victims.
The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Dwyer, who was driving the Ram, and Crossley, a passenger, were pronounced dead at the scene. The two other occupants of the truck were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Sullivan, the suspect responsible for the crash, was also hospitalized with injuries. He now faces multiple charges, including driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and two counts each of homicide by vehicle and great bodily harm by vehicle.
According to reports, Dwyer and Crossley were close friends who had known each other since high school. They attended junior high and high school together in Texas before both graduating from the University of Oklahoma. The news of their untimely deaths has left their families and communities devastated.
