Connecticut Man Recovering After Snowmobile Crash in Stewartstown
A 73-year-old man from Brookfield, Connecticut, is currently recovering after a snowmobile accident in Stewartstown, New Hampshire. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon when the driver, Ron Reiske, crashed into a tree while traveling downhill on Corridor Trail 21.

According to authorities from the New Hampshire Fish and Game, Reiske failed to stay on the trail, causing his snowmobile to strike the tree and roll over onto him. To make matters worse, the snowmobile caught fire while Reiske was trapped underneath.
However, luck was on Reiske’s side as several fellow snowmobilers who were riding with him quickly came to his rescue. They managed to pull him out from under the flaming snowmobile and immediately called 911 for assistance.
Responding swiftly, the Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team arrived at the scene in a helicopter. They transported Reiske to the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont, where he is currently receiving treatment for his injuries.
