Brother and Friend Found dead in Murder Plot
A couple in Balasore, India, has been arrested by local police after a property dispute took a treacherous turn, resulting in the murder of two young men. Bijay Rout and his wife Jyotsna were taken into custody, along with four others, in connection with the double homicide that occurred on February 5.

The victims, identified as Bhabani Rout and Manoranjan Mohapatra, were found dead in a lake in Mitrapur. Bhabani, just 21 years old, was Bijay’s younger brother. The bodies were recovered on the same day as the crime.
Investigation into the case revealed a shocking conspiracy orchestrated by the couple. They had hired a contract killer, Sujit Das, to carry out the murder of Bhabani. Sujit, too, has been apprehended by the police.
It was discovered that the couple paid Sujit a sum of Rs 1.70 lakh to carry out the heinous act. However, due to an unfortunate coincidence, Manoranjan, who had accidentally witnessed the crime, was also targeted and killed.
After committing the murders, Sujit disposed of the bodies by dumping them in Blue Lake in Mitrapur. The following day, Bijay went to the police to report his brother missing, claiming that he was unable to locate him.
