New Delhi: Police Identify Attackers Involved in Double Murder at Delhi Salon
A day after a horrifying incident at a salon in Delhi’s Najafgarh, police have successfully identified the two attackers responsible for the double murder. According to official sources, the assailants, Sanjeev Dahiya alias Sanju and Harsh alias Chintu, were allegedly embroiled in a dispute with the victims over a social media post.
The victims, Ashish and Sonu, had gone to the salon for a haircut when they were brutally shot dead at Najafgarh’s Indira Park on Friday. Disturbing CCTV footage captured the moment when one of the victims pleaded for his life before being shot at point-blank range. The footage also showed two female salon staff members fleeing in terror.
While the motive behind the attack appears to be personal enmity stemming from an abusive social media post, the exact reason will be determined once the accused are apprehended, a police official stated. Sanjeev Dahiya is believed to be a lawyer practicing in a Delhi court, although this information is yet to be verified. Harsh alias Chintu, on the other hand, is the brother of incarcerated gangster Yogesh Tunda and was recently released on bail.
In response to this shocking incident, several teams comprising local police and the crime branch have been assembled to track down and arrest the accused. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Ankit Singh assured the public that progress is being made in the investigation and stated, “Certain things will be clear once the accused are arrested.”

In a tragic turn of events, two lives were lost in Dwarka, Delhi, due to a targeted shooting at a salon. The incident, which was captured on camera, showed one of the assailants closing the salon door before shooting a man in the head at close range. The victim died instantly. As the woman who had initially closed the door emerged and discovered the lifeless body, she quickly retreated back inside, while other customers fled in fear. The deceased, Sonu and Ashish, were customers themselves, and it is suspected that this incident may be linked to a possible gang-war.
Shortly after the shooting, a call was made to the Mohan Garden police station reporting two individuals with gunshot wounds being admitted to the hospital. Unfortunately, both Sonu and Ashish succumbed to their injuries.
As the investigation progresses, the police are determined to bring the attackers to justice and shed light on the circumstances surrounding this tragic event..
