Man Shoots Jewellery Shop Owner in Pune Over Financial Dispute, Commits Suicide in Autorickshaw
A shocking incident unfolded in Pune city on Saturday evening as a 52-year-old man fired at and injured a jewellery shop owner before taking his own life. The incident took place outside a hotel in the Aundh area of Pune.
According to the authorities, a financial dispute is believed to be the primary cause behind the tragic event. The deceased has been identified as Anil Dhamale, while the injured shop owner is Aakash Jadhav, aged 39. police officials have confirmed this information.
Reports suggest that Dhamale had been working at Jadhav’s jewellery store for several years. On the fateful day, Dhamale invited Jadhav for a coffee and took him to a nearby hotel. However, when they reached the establishment, Dhamale, who was armed with a pistol, shot Jadhav at close range and quickly fled the scene.

After the shooting, Dhamale boarded an autorickshaw and tragically took his own life by shooting himself in the head with the same weapon near Aundh Chowk. Jadhav, on the other hand, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Chatushrungi police station has registered a case, and a thorough investigation is currently underway to gather more information about the incident.
Anil Dhamale’s motives for his actions remain unknown at this time. The police are exploring all angles and conducting interviews to determine the exact cause of the financial dispute that led to this tragic event.
