Irate villagers in Patna district took to the streets in anger after two separate road accidents resulted in the deaths of two individuals. In the first incident, a speeding truck struck and killed a sanitation worker of the Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Khagaul road near Chulhaichak. The victim, Dashrath Manjhi, was pronounced dead at the scene. In response, outraged locals blocked the road and set the truck on fire, demanding compensation for the loss.
