On Thursday at approximately 2:45 p.m., a two-vehicle accident occurred on West State Street near Third Street. The accident involved Stormie M. Pierce, a 31-year-old individual with no permanent address, and Ava E. Canna, a 20-year-old resident of Williamsville. According to reports, Pierce’s vehicle struck the rear of Canna’s vehicle, which had slowed down in traffic. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Pierce was subsequently cited for following too closely, which is considered an infraction.

Charges Filed Against Danielle Marie Jones

On Friday at 11:33 a.m., Danielle Marie Jones, a 35-year-old resident of 125 N. Third St., was charged with petit larceny, which is classified as a class A misdemeanor. Following her arrest, Jones was released with an appearance ticket.

Kasim Pendi arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

In the early hours of Saturday at 12:46 a.m., Kasim Pendi, a 30-year-old resident of 1036 Delaware Ave., was charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater. Additionally, Pendi was charged with failure to yield right-of-way. These charges, which are considered unclassified misdemeanors, stemmed from a traffic stop. Pendi was released with an appearance ticket.

Quincy R.C. Gayton Arrested After Domestic Dispute

On Saturday at 10:23 a.m., Quincy R.C. Gayton, a 25-year-old resident of 911 Page Road, was arrested following a reported domestic dispute. Gayton was charged with aggravated family offense, fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, and second-degree harassment. These charges range from class E felony to violation. Gayton is currently being held pending arraignment.

Timothy R. Lowry Facing Criminal Contempt Charges

Timothy R. Lowry, a 42-year-old resident of 132 S. 12th St., found himself in legal trouble after a reported domestic dispute. Lowry was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation. He is currently being held pending arraignment.

Dylon E. Howard Charged with Petit Larceny

At 9:13 p.m. on Saturday, Dylon E. Howard, a 309-year-old resident of North Tonawanda, was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor. The charge stems from an incident reported at CVS Pharmacy. Howard’s current status was not reported.

Landon E. Engle Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

In the early hours of Sunday at 12:14 a.m., Landon E. Engle, a 20-year-old resident of 212 Laurens St., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08% or greater. These charges are considered unclassified misdemeanors. Engle’s current status was not reported.

Troy A. Safford Arrested on Bench Warrant

Troy A. Safford, a 45-year-old resident of Salamanca, was arrested on Sunday at 3:26 p.m. on a bench warrant issued out of Olean city Court. The warrant was related to charges of second-degree criminal impersonation and false personation, both considered misdemeanors. Safford is being held pending arraignment.

On Friday at 4:37 a.m., Cara L. Skye, a 35-year-old resident of Salamanca, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. Skye was subsequently transferred to Cattaraugus County Jail.

Joshua Slone Charged with Criminal Mischief

Joshua Slone, a 44-year-old resident of Natrona Heights, Pa., found himself in legal trouble on Friday at 9:23 a.m. Slone was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, which is classified as a class E felony. He is currently being held pending arraignment.

Mackenzie L. Redeye Arrested on Multiple Bench Warrants

At 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, 21-year-old Mackenzie L. Redeye, a resident of Salamanca, was arrested on three bench warrants issued out of Salamanca City Court. Redeye was also arrested on a separate warrant relating to two counts of third-degree criminal trespass, a class B misdemeanor. She was released with an appearance ticket.

Joshua E. Evans Arrested on Warrant

At 6:17 p.m. on Thursday, Joshua E. Evans, a 40-year-old resident of Delevan, was arrested on a warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County Court. Evans was transported to Cattaraugus County Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment.

Katelyn A. McVinney Charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration

Katelyn A. McVinney, a 21-year-old resident of Olean, was charged on Friday at 3:04 a.m. with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a class A misdemeanor. McVinney was released with an appearance ticket.

Lateef Ghani Charged with Animal Cruelty

On Saturday at 3 p.m., Lateef Ghani, a 44-year-old resident of Ashford, was charged with overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals/failure to provide proper sustenance, which is classified as a class A misdemeanor. Ghani was released with an appearance ticket.

These charges, considered unclassified misdemeanors, resulted in Slone’s release with an appearance ticket.

Robert D. Lozina Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

Robert D. Lozina, a 57-year-old individual with no provided address, was charged on Saturday at 1:32 a.m. with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor. Lozina was released on his own recognizance.

Multi-Vehicle and Single-Vehicle Accidents Reported

On Saturday, a three-vehicle accident occurred on Route 19 near Route 17 in Belfast. The drivers involved were identified as Brittany S. Scholes, a 35-year-old resident of Belmont; Ruby Aimee Fox, a 31-year-old resident of Buffalo; and an 18-year-old resident of Belfast. One injury was reported.

Additionally, a one-vehicle accident was reported on Yeager Hill Road near Route 417 in Scio on Saturday at 7:03 p.m. Lloyd P. Fuller, a 77-year-old resident of Scio, was identified as the driver. One injury was reported.
