Authorities suspect that the murder may be a result of a longstanding rivalry between Hasan and one of the accused individuals. Anuj and Nitin, the two suspects, have been apprehended by the police. During their arrest, they tried to escape by snatching a service pistol from the police, but were injured in the process. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

Hasan, survived by his wife and four children, had transitioned from working in the scrap industry to driving an e-rickshaw to support his family. Interestingly, both Anuj and Nitin also reside in the same village and have their own professional occupations.

According to officials, this act of violence is not the first encounter between Hasan and Anuj’s family. In 2018, Hasan allegedly stabbed Anuj’s father, who fortunately survived the attack. The case is still pending in court.

The sequence of events leading up to the murder began with a heated argument between the accused and the deceased on Saturday night. Subsequently, Hasan was stabbed, tied to a bike, and dragged through the village.
