Tragic Accident Claims Five Lives in Odisha
Five people tragically lost their lives and one person is fighting for survival after a devastating head-on collision between a scooter and a motorcycle in the Ganjam district of Odisha. The incident occurred on Thursday night at Kesharipatna near Sorada, leaving a trail of destruction and despair in its wake.
Authorities have determined that the accident was likely caused by poor visibility due to dense fog. As a result, both vehicles collided with each other, leading to the untimely demise of five individuals and leaving one critically injured.

The victims have been identified as Srikant Gouda from Ashurabandh, Manoj Dakua from Dulada, Mahendra Nayak from Gopalpur Sashan, Jayant Badatya from Sorada, and Rajani Gouda from Sana Sorada. Tragically, all victims were relatively young, with ages ranging from 30 to 43, except for Rajani.
Of the five deceased, four lost their lives instantly at the accident site, while Jayant succumbed to his injuries during transportation to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital. The sole survivor of this horrific incident is currently in critical condition, fighting for their life.
