Three people, including two Class XII students, killed in Namakkal bike collision: David, Saravanan, and Gowtham identified as victims

Three people, including two Class XII students, tragically lost their lives in a devastating road accident that occurred in Namakkal. The incident took place near Senthamangalam on Wednesday, when two motorcycles collided. The deceased individuals have been identified as S David, 25, V Saravanan, 18, and S Gowtham, 19, all hailing from Pachudayampatty Pudur village.

According to reports, David and Saravanan were riding a motorcycle, returning to Pachudayampatty Pudur from Pudanchandai, when the collision occurred. As they reached Salaiyur on the Pudanchandai-Pachudayampatty Pudur Road at approximately 11:30 pm, another bike travelling at high speed crashed into David’s motorcycle. The impact of the collision caused both David and Saravanan to be thrown off their bike, resulting in fatal head injuries.

Sadly, despite efforts to save their lives, both David and Saravanan succumbed to their injuries at the scene. Gowtham, who was riding with his friends Poovarasan, 25, and Mohan Kumar, 22, on the other bike, also sustained injuries in the accident. Tragically, Gowtham passed away before reaching the hospital and was declared brought dead. Poovarasan and Mohan Kumar are currently receiving treatment at the government medical college and hospital.

The Senthamangalam police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. This devastating accident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for all individuals to exercise caution while driving.

In recent news, two women fish vendors were fatally struck by a speeding bike on the Ennore Expressway in Tiruvottiyur. S Subha, 37, lost her life at the scene, while S Bhavani, 38, was declared dead at Stanley Government Hospital. The bike riders, S Bharath, 20, and Balakrishnan, 20, both pursuing engineering degrees, collided with the women while they were crossing the road.

Furthermore, the Nashik Police have successfully apprehended two burglars, Vishal Dhande and Mohan Dhake, in the Ambad area. The police recovered a total of 17 stolen bikes, which had been reported as stolen from various parts of the city. The burglars confessed to committing the thefts, with the incidents spanning from last year to this year.
