Passenger killed in Oildale Crash Identified as Renee Stansbury
Oildale, Calif. – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the passenger who tragically lost their life in a two-vehicle crash in Oildale on September 2. The passenger has been identified as Renee Anette Stansbury, a 38-year-old resident of Bakersfield.

The incident occurred when Stansbury was a passenger in an allegedly stolen vehicle that was being pursued by deputies. The pursuit came to a devastating end when the stolen vehicle collided with another motorist in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue, west of Yosemite Drive.
