Vipin Kumar Murdered Over Illicit Affair With Married Cousin in Greater Noida, Two Arrested

Greater Noida, January 16: A horrifying incident unfolded in Greater Noida as a young man lost his life due to his illicit affair with his married cousin sister. The police have taken swift action and apprehended two individuals, including the woman’s husband, in connection with the crime. The victim, identified as Vipin Kumar, a 25-year-old youth, was found dead near Hindon Pusta in the Ecotech-3 police station area of Greater Noida on Friday.

A Youth Named Jani and His Associate Arrested

Authorities revealed that the investigation led to the arrest of a youth named Jani and his associate. During questioning, it was disclosed that Vipin had been involved in an illicit relationship with Jani’s wife, who happened to be Vipin’s cousin sister.

Jani’s Confession During Interrogation

Additional DCP Hridesh Kataria shared that Jani confessed to the crime during interrogation. Jani admitted to killing Vipin, citing his wife’s affair with the deceased and their secret meetings. Despite Jani’s numerous warnings, the affair continued, prompting him to take drastic action.

A Brutal Murder

According to official reports, Jani lured Vipin to Hindon Pushta, where he mercilessly strangled him to death using a rope. After committing the heinous act, Jani fled the scene, leaving the lifeless body hidden among the bushes. Jani enlisted the assistance of an accomplice named Shyamveer in carrying out the crime. Both perpetrators have been apprehended and charged with murder.
