Two Passengers killed and 19 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision Due to Fog
In a tragic incident on Monday, a dense fog led to a collision between four vehicles on the Chichawatni Road in Kamalia, resulting in the death of two passengers and serious injuries to 19 others. The collision occurred when a Kamalia-bound coaster van collided head-on with a mini truck coming from the opposite direction. Additionally, a pick-up truck loaded with chicken birds rammed into the rear side of the coaster, and a car collided with the mini truck. The collision caused extensive damage and chaos on the road, leaving a trail of destruction.
The deceased victim has been identified as 25-year-old Javeria Zuhra from Hasilpur. The injured passengers were swiftly attended to by the dedicated team of Rescue 1122 and transported to Kamalia THQ and Toba Tek Singh DHQ hospitals for immediate medical attention. The injured victims, hailing from various cities including Sheikhupura, Quetta, Karachi, Burewala, Faisalabad, and Kamalia, were identified as Irfan, Shabab Ameer, Abu Bakr, Riaz, Faizan, Faisal, Waryam, Fida Abid, Allah Ditta, Ahsan, Arham, Anjum, Nabil, Shaista, Aiman, Shabbir, Shahbaz, Shahid, and Javed. Two of the injured individuals were referred to Faisalabad Allied Hospital for further treatment.

The injured victims, identified as Abdul Shakoor, Aftab, Shahbaz, Razia Bibi, and Muhammad Jamshed, were immediately taken to Allied Hospital for urgent medical care. District Population Welfare Officer Succumbs to Injuries
In a shocking turn of events, Nasir Bashir Grewal, a district population welfare officer, passed away due to injuries sustained in a car accident caused by fog on the Gojra-Faisalabad Road. Grewal had collided with a roadside tree, resulting in severe injuries. Despite receiving medical treatment at Allied Hospital in Faisalabad, he tragically succumbed to his wounds. Grewal’s untimely demise has left the community in mourning, and his contributions to the welfare sector will be dearly missed.
Security Guard Burnt Alive in Tragic Fire Incident
In a devastating incident on the Khurrianwala-Jaranwala Road in Faisalabad, a security guard employed at a textile mill lost his life in a fire. Shahbaz, the security guard, was warming up his meal on an electric heater when an unfortunate accident occurred. His hand accidentally touched a live wire, causing a severe electric shock. The electric heater fell on him, igniting his clothes and resulting in his tragic death.
