Woman killed and 17 Injured in Terror Attack in Tel Aviv Suburb
In a tragic incident that unfolded on Monday, a terror attack took place in the Tel Aviv suburb of Raanana, resulting in the death of one woman and leaving 17 others injured. This rare fatal incident in central Israel has come amidst the ongoing war in Gaza.

Attack Carried Out by Palestinian Men
The attack, which occurred in the afternoon, was carried out by two Palestinian men who stabbed and rammed people with cars in Raanana. Known for its large population of English-speaking immigrants, this suburb with approximately 75,000 residents was left stunned and devastated by the violence. The victim who tragically lost her life was identified as 79-year-old Edna Bluestein. Two other victims, including a 16-year-old boy, sustained serious injuries. Several children who were caught in the attack were rushed to hospitals for medical treatment.
Attackers Apprehended
Law enforcement authorities were successful in capturing the attackers, who were found to be illegally working in Israel and hailing from the Hebron area in the West Bank. According to information shared by Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence service with local media, the assailants claimed that their actions were inspired by Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza.
War in Gaza Enters 100th Day
This attack is a grim reminder of the long-lasting conflict between Israel and the terror group Hamas, which has been in control of the Gaza Strip. The war, which began when Hamas invaded Israel on October 7, has now crossed 100 days. During this time, approximately 1,200 people have lost their lives in Gaza, with nearly 24,000 Palestinians being killed, as reported by the Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry. On the other side, the Israeli ground invasion has claimed the lives of around 200 Israeli soldiers.

In addition to the ongoing war in Gaza, Israel is currently engaged in an escalating conflict with the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah along its northern border. This conflict has resulted in the deaths of 15 Israelis and around 200 Lebanese individuals.
