New Delhi Man Dies After Brutal Assault by Brother-in-Law and Friends
New Delhi, India – A tragic incident has left a family devastated as a man lost his life after being brutally attacked by his brother-in-law and a group of friends. The incident took place in Sangam Vihar over two weeks ago, but no arrests have been made so far.

The victim, identified as Rakesh, lived with his family in Sangam Vihar. The assault occurred following a domestic dispute between Rakesh and his wife, which escalated to the point where she called her brother and his friends for help. The group mercilessly thrashed Rakesh, leaving him unconscious.
According to Mukesh, the victim’s brother, the quarrel between the couple took place on December 29. Rakesh’s wife contacted her brother in Faridabad, who arrived with his friends and retaliated by beating Mukesh and his brother. Rakesh was rushed to the hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
The police have registered a case under several sections of the Indian Penal Code, including house trespass, causing hurt, wrongful restraint, and common intention. Multiple teams have been formed to apprehend the criminals.
The shocking incident was captured on a CCTV camera, which showed Rakesh being dragged out of his house and brutally assaulted. Despite some attempts to intervene, the attackers continued their assault, tearing his clothes.

The victim’s relatives and other residents of Sangam Vihar staged a protest outside the police station, demanding justice for Rakesh. His sister expressed her anguish, stating, “Even after so many days, no one has been arrested. My brother was brutally attacked. I want justice for him.”
