A man dies and four others injured in a tragic car collision in Delhi
A devastating road accident in Delhi has claimed the life of a man and left four others injured. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday when their car collided with another vehicle on Salim Garh Road in the Kotwali police station area.
According to the police, the driver of the car lost control, causing the vehicle to jump the divider and collide with the oncoming vehicle. The impact of the collision was so severe that both cars were left badly wrecked. A white Celereo, which was a taxi, and a Swift car were involved in the deadly crash.

The police were alerted to the accident around 1:30 am when they received a PCR call. Upon reaching the scene, they were met with a heartbreaking sight of the mangled cars. The investigation later revealed that the Swift had crossed the divider, breaking the middle road barrier, before smashing into the Celereo.
Tragically, the driver of the Swift, identified as Gaurav Malhotra, lost his life in the accident. Gaurav, a resident of East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The loss of a young life has undoubtedly left his family and friends devastated.
In addition to the fatality, four others were injured in the collision. The injured individuals, identified as Sumit, Saurav, and two unidentified persons, were rushed to the hospital for treatment. One of them is currently in critical condition at the Trauma Centre, and their recovery hangs in the balance.
This incident serves as a somber reminder of the dangers of reckless driving and the importance of road safety. It is crucial for drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic rules to prevent such tragic accidents from occurring.

In another unfortunate incident, a car-auto rickshaw collision in Telangana’s Mahabubabad district claimed the lives of four members of a family. The injured individuals were admitted to the Mahabubabad government hospital, with two of them currently in critical condition.
