Biker killed and Pillion Rider Injured in Kurigram Road Accident
A tragic road accident in Kurigram’s Nageshwari upazila last night claimed the life of a young biker and left his pillion rider critically injured. The incident occurred on the Kurigram-Nageshwari road, when a vehicle collided with their motorcycle.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Taibul Islam, a resident of Majher Char area in Nageshwari upazila. The identity of the injured pillion rider has not been immediately ascertained.

According to eyewitnesses, the two were returning home from a local market around 10:00pm when tragedy struck. A vehicle traveling in the opposite direction crashed into their bike, instantly killing Taibul and inflicting critical injuries on the pillion rider.
Confirming the incident, Sub-Inspector Mokbul Hossain from Nageshwari Police Station stated that a thorough investigation will be conducted and appropriate legal action will be taken.
The injured pillion rider is currently receiving medical treatment at Nageshwari Upazila Health Complex, added SI Mokbul.
The sudden loss of Taibul’s life has left the community in shock and mourning. Known for his friendly nature and passion for biking, Taibul was a beloved member of the Majher Char area. Friends and family remember him as a caring and adventurous individual who always had a smile on his face.
