New Delhi Car Accident Claims Life of 40-Year-Old Man and Leaves Four Others Injured

A tragic car accident in New Delhi has resulted in the death of a 40-year-old man and left four others injured. The incident occurred when a car lost control, jumped the divider, and collided with another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The details of the accident were shared by an official on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Gaurav Malhotra, a resident of Laxmi Nagar in east Delhi. Gaurav’s life was cut short as a result of the collision. His untimely demise has left his family and friends devastated.

According to the police, the incident took place around 1:30 a.m. on the Salim Garh Road in the Kotwali police station area. A police control room (PCR) call was received, alerting the authorities about the fatal accident.

Upon reaching the scene, the police discovered a white Celereo, which was a taxi, and a severely damaged Swift car. It was determined that the Celereo had been struck by the Swift from the opposite carriage way, causing significant damage to the middle road divider.

The driver of the Maruti Swift car, Gaurav, was immediately rushed to the hospital but, unfortunately, was declared dead upon arrival. Four others were also injured in the accident. Their names are Sumit, Saurav, and two individuals who remain unidentified. One of the unidentified victims is said to be in a serious condition at the Trauma Centre.
