Tragic Kidnapping Ends in Heartbreaking Loss of Najeebah

A young lady named Najeebah has met a tragic and untimely end at the hands of heartless gunmen who abducted her and her five sisters in Abuja. This shocking incident has left the nation in a state of grief and anger as they demand justice for Najeebah and the safe return of her remaining sisters.

The horrifying ordeal began on January 9 when Najeebah and her sisters were forcefully taken from their home, along with their father. While their father was eventually released, the kidnappers issued a chilling demand for a hefty ransom of N60 million before January 12, as a condition for the girls’ release. In an attempt to gather the required funds, concerned Nigerians were urged to donate whatever they could to a designated bank account. However, despite their efforts, the amount collected by Friday fell short of the target.

Tragically, the kidnappers, in a display of utter disregard for human life, ruthlessly killed Najeebah, the oldest of the six sisters, and callously dumped her body. This devastating news was confirmed by the former Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, who expressed his grief and extended his condolences to Najeebah’s family.

The heinousness of the crime has sparked outrage across the country, with prominent figures like former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad calling on the police to take immediate action. Ahmad took to social media to demand that the Nigeria Police prioritize the case and deploy all necessary resources to rescue the remaining victims, emphasizing the urgent need for their safe return.

The Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, responded to the public’s concerns, assuring them that the police were actively working on the case. Adejobi urged a member of the victims’ family to confidentially reach out and provide crucial information that could aid in the rescue operation.

The news of Najeebah’s tragic demise has left Nigerians heartbroken, and they have taken to social media to express their deep sadness and frustration. They are calling on the security agencies to redouble their efforts and ensure the safe rescue of the remaining girls.
