Three Killed, One Critically Injured in Tragic Accident in Sikkim

At least three individuals lost their lives while another person sustained critical injuries after a dreadful accident in Sikkim’s Namchi district. The incident occurred on Friday night when the vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Neeya village. The deceased have been identified as Lakpa Sherpa (45), Sonam Sherpa (50), and Palden Sherpa (16). The fourth person, whose identity remains undisclosed, is currently receiving treatment at STNM Hospital.

The unfortunate accident took place as the vehicle was en route to Neeya village from Yangang town. Local authorities are actively investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the tragedy. In the meantime, the critically injured individual is being provided with the necessary medical attention in hopes of a swift recovery.
