Father-Son Duo Among Four Victims in Tragic Road Accident in Beed, Maharashtra
A heart-wrenching incident unfolded on Friday night in Beed district, Maharashtra, as a truck collided with a pickup vehicle, resulting in the loss of four lives, including that of a father-son duo. The accident occurred at around 9.30 pm on the Ahmedpur-Ahmednagar highway, specifically at Sasewadi village in Beed taluka.

According to the police, the pickup vehicle was en route to Patoda via Manjarsumbha in the district when tragedy struck. The truck, carrying pipes, approached from the opposite direction and collided with the pickup vehicle. The impact was so severe that the two vehicles became entangled, dragging the pickup vehicle for a considerable distance.
Among the victims were Prahlad Gharat, 63, and his son Nitin, 41, who were traveling in the ill-fated pickup vehicle. Both lost their lives on the spot, along with Vinod Sanap, 40, another occupant of the vehicle. Additionally, the truck driver, identified as Gahininath Garje, 31, also perished in the accident.
