Jan. 11—The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has revealed the name of a woman who lost her life in a recent hit-and-run accident on Interstate 25 near Eldorado.
The victim has been identified as Maeve Long, a 24-year-old resident of Santa Fe and a former student at Santa Fe Community College.

The tragic incident occurred when Long was standing outside her vehicle on the side of the motorway and was struck by another vehicle, according to a spokesperson from the sheriff’s office.
