FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Two individuals have been apprehended and are now facing murder charges after a fatal shooting incident that occurred in September of last year. The Fort Wayne Police Department took 18-year-old Terrance Sanders Jr and 19-year-old Christopher Recht into custody on Thursday in relation to the shooting that took place on Fox Point Trail in the 1800 block.
The incident, which took place on September 12, saw law enforcement officers responding to reports of multiple gunshots and a fatality at the Villa Capri Apartment complex just before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man and a child who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, the man, later identified as 18-year-old Ayvion Antoine Romel Parker from Fort Wayne, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Terrance Sanders Jr and Christopher Recht have been charged with murder, attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon, and criminal gang activity in connection with the murder of Ayvion Parker. Both suspects were apprehended without incident and are currently being held at the Allen County Jail.
