The victim of a recent shooting in Louisville’s Taylor Berry neighborhood has been identified as 31-year-old William Kannamore, according to the coroner. The tragic incident took place on Tuesday evening around 9:22 p.m. on Utah Avenue.

Upon receiving reports of a shooting, officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) rushed to the scene. They discovered Kannamore suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their best efforts to save him using a chest seal and a tourniquet, Kannamore’s injuries proved to be severe.
Kannamore was immediately rushed to UofL Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Unfortunately, the LMPD later received the devastating news that Kannamore had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
