Software Engineer Allegedly Falls to Death While Cleaning in Bengaluru Apartment Complex
In a tragic incident, a software engineer named Kushboo Ashish Trivedi, 32, fell to her death from the fifth floor of a BDA apartment complex near Kannamangala in east Bengaluru. The incident occurred on Thursday at around 4 pm, but details were only revealed after a preliminary investigation by the police.

According to an officer, Kushboo was cleaning the window and the dust on the corridor walls when the accident happened. She had climbed atop a wooden shoe rack to clean the glass and had left the sliding door of the window open. Unfortunately, she slipped and fell through the air shaft of two towers of the apartment complex. Despite being rushed to a private hospital by other residents and family members, the doctors declared her dead.
The police have registered an unnatural death case based on a complaint filed by Kushboo’s father, Chandrakanth Trivedi. At the time of the incident, her husband, in-laws, and domestic help were present inside the flat. Kushboo had been married to Trivedi Ashish Harish Kumar for seven years, and they resided on the fifth floor of the 17-storey building, which houses approximately 750 flats. Shockingly, there was no safety mesh in the open space, leading to her fatal fall.
Social activist Subhash S has also lodged a complaint, demanding action against the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) for failing to comply with safety measures in the apartment. This incident highlights the importance of ensuring proper safety precautions in residential complexes to avoid such unfortunate accidents.
The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to gather more information and determine if any negligence or violations contributed to Kushboo’s death.
