West Palm Beach, Fla. – The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred over the weekend. According to the agency’s Facebook page, deputies responded to a shooting incident on Saturday morning in the Summit Run Circle area.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement discovered two individuals who had succumbed to gunshot wounds. They were able to identify a person of interest, who has now been identified as Sony Josaphat. Josaphat has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

In a Facebook post, the agency stated, “After a thorough investigation into this weekend’s double homicide, our detectives have interviewed and arrested the ‘person of interest’.” Josaphat is currently in custody and is being held without bond.
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear, and neighbors are puzzled by the incident. A resident of the area told WPTV, “It’s pretty quiet, and we don’t have too many things happening over here, so I don’t know how this happened.”
