Arrest Made in Connection to Fatal Shooting in Washington, D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced that an arrest has been made in connection to a shooting that resulted in the death of a man on August 1st. The incident took place on the unit block of Forrester Street, SW.
According to MPD documents, officers responded to the location after receiving reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim with gunshot wounds who showed no signs of life.
The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Darnell Gibson.
On December 8th, the MPD executed an arrest warrant issued by the DC Superior Court and apprehended 33-year-old Irv Duff Jr. He has been charged with first-degree murder while armed.
