Berhampur, Odisha – A 78-year-old woman, identified as Kuntala Nayak, passed away on Monday, a day following an alleged assault by a 22-year-old man in Mamudiha village, located in Odisha’s Ganjam district. However, she was later referred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital on Monday.
