35-Year-Old Man Commits Suicide After Killing Wife and Two Sons in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia District | Investigation Underway

A tragic incident unfolded in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia district on Sunday, as a 35-year-old man allegedly took his own life after killing his wife and two sons. The motive behind this devastating act was a family dispute, according to the police. Authorities have sent the bodies for a post-mortem examination, and an investigation is currently underway.

The victims have been identified as Shravan Ram (35), his wife Shashikala (30), and their two young sons, Surya Rao (7) and Mitthu (4 months). In a chilling discovery, the police found a suicide note in Shravan’s pocket, where he confessed to ending his own life after murdering his family due to the ongoing family disputes.

Superintendent of Police S Anand revealed that the woman and children were found dead in an orchard near their residence in Devdeeh village. Meanwhile, Shravan’s lifeless body was discovered hanging from a tree on Sunday night. The police determined that all three victims had been killed with a sharp-edged weapon.

The authorities have learned that the deceased couple had an ongoing dispute being heard in a local court in Ballia. The family members informed the police that an argument had escalated, leading to this horrifying incident.

In light of this tragic event, the bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination, and a thorough investigation has been initiated by the police.
