Five members of a family, including the bride and groom, tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday morning. The accident occurred when their car collided head-on with a truck near Pakaria jungle under Mulmula police station.
The groom, identified as Shubham Soni, and the driver of the car, Omprakash Soni, were among the victims. Four people, including the bride, died on the spot, while the groom succumbed to his injuries at the Pamgarh community health centre. The remaining victims have not yet been identified.

The family was returning home after the wedding ceremony when the accident took place. The impact of the collision was so severe that the front portion of the car was completely destroyed.
