Pune woman found dead in tent : Woman Killed by Muller in Pune Tent: Victim’s Identity Unknown

Pune: A woman was found dead in a tent near Aai Mata temple on Kondhwa-Bibvewadi road on Saturday morning. The victim, who was identified as a 40 to 45-year-old herb seller, was allegedly killed with a muller used for crushing herbs.

The Bibvewadi police received information about the incident from the public and immediately sent the victim’s body to Sassoon General Hospital for a postmortem examination. Senior Inspector Savita Dhamdhere stated that the woman had severe injuries to her head and face, which indicated that the assailant used the muller as a weapon.

The crime scene, consisting of several tents where people sell herbs, is a common sight in the area. Locals and passersby informed the police that the victim had been staying in one of the tents for the past three days.

The police have not yet determined the motive behind the killing and are continuing their investigation. Two men who were spotted near the tent at the time of the murder have been taken into custody for questioning.
