According to initial investigations, the couple had been engaged in a long-standing dispute after Arjun discovered his wife’s illicit affair. The argument between them escalated on Saturday, resulting in the tragic outcome. Arjun, in a fit of rage, killed his wife and then took her head to the police station, where he surrendered himself.

The police promptly recovered the headless body of the victim from the crime scene, while Arjun was detained for further questioning. In a separate incident in Mumbai, a 42-year-old man named Moinuddin Nasrullah Ansari was arrested for the alleged murder of his wife, Parveen Moinuddin Ansari. The accused reportedly beat his wife to death after she refused to give him money to buy alcohol. Parveen was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.

The couple resided near the railway track between Goregaon and Malad stations. A case has been registered against Moinuddin Ansari under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
