Tragic Accident in Saharanpur: Three Killed and Three Injured in Auto Rickshaw Collision
Meerut: A devastating accident in Saharanpur claimed the lives of three individuals and left three others seriously injured on Saturday. The incident occurred when a speeding dumper truck collided with an auto rickshaw parked on the roadside.

According to Kusum Bhati, the SHO of Nagal police station, the mishap took place when the truck driver lost control of the vehicle after a bike suddenly appeared on the road. The truck swerved and crashed into a three-wheeler parked along the service lane, resulting in the death of one person on the spot. The two other victims succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment. The three injured individuals have been discharged from the hospital.
Kusum Bhati stated, “An FIR has been registered, and the driver has been arrested. A thorough investigation is currently underway.”
This tragic incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers posed by reckless driving and the importance of adhering to traffic rules and regulations. It highlights the need for stricter enforcement of road safety measures to prevent such accidents in the future.
